Village News - latest editions
The Village News
The council publishes a monthly online newsletter called the Village News. It accepts content from any members of the community (as long as they don't break any of the publishing guidelines) and publishes information about local events, news, council matters and meetings as well as regular columns from local organisations and experts.
It is edited by Cllr David Mottram and proofed by the Events and Communications committee of the council. The deadline for submission of content to Cllr Mottram is the 24th of each month in order that the Village News can be compiled and sent out to residents by the beginning of each month. If you would like to submit content or sign up to receive the newletter then Cllr Mottram can be emailed at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If anyone has an issue with accessing the newletter online, there will be copies of the newletter available to read around the village once the lockdown has been lifted enough. Print copies can be supplied if people do not have the ability to access the online version and you can also contact Cllr Mottram to request this service.
The council was going to produce a special printed edition of the newsletter for all households in Kessingland in January to promote the Village News and encourage people to sign up to the only version however the latest Covid lockdown prevented that but we hope to publish one in the near future (Covid allowing).
The latest versions of the Village News are available to the left of this panel.
